Legal bases

When the GDPR applies, the processing of your data is based in particular on one or more of the following legal bases:

Where required, including for certain non-essential cookies or audience measurement tools, I collect your consent through a banner or preference management mechanism. You can also configure your browser to block or delete cookies, it being specified that some features of the site could then be limited.

Third-party tools

I can use technical service providers or third-party software for hosting the site (at Infomaniak, below, hosting), audience analysis, sending emails, form management, appointment booking, course organization or payment processing. In this context, certain personal data may be communicated to these service providers to the extent necessary for the provision of their services.

If I use services such as an analytics tool, newsletter service, videoconferencing solution, payment provider or external host, the corresponding processing is also subject to the privacy policy of the service provider concerned for the party that falls under its own responsibility.

Your personal data may be communicated, as needed, to the following categories of recipients:

  • site host;
  • IT and technical providers;
  • communication or e-mailing services;

International transfers

Some technical or software providers I use may process personal data outside of Switzerland or the European Economic Area. In this case, I ensure that appropriate safeguards are put in place when required by law, for example by means of standard contractual clauses or other recognized mechanisms.

shelf life

I keep the personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes pursued or to meet my legal obligations. As a guide:

  • The data related to a contact request are kept for the time necessary for the processing of the request and for the reasonable follow-up of the request;
  • The data related to a contractual relationship or a benefit are kept for the duration of the relationship, then during the applicable legal retention periods, in particular in administrative, tax and accounting matters;
  • The data related to a subscription to a newsletter are kept until withdrawal of consent or unsubscribe;
  • The technical and navigation data are kept for a limited period, proportionate to their purpose.

When the data is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized or securely archived, as appropriate.

Data Security

I implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or any other form of unauthorized processing. These measures take into account the nature of the data, the context of the processing and the associated risks.

The revised LPD highlights in particular the principles of “Privacy by Design” and “Privacy by Default”, which aim to integrate data protection from the design and by default into digital services.

Subject to the applicable law and legal conditions, you have the following rights in particular:

Newsletter and communications

If I offer a newsletter or information communications, I will only use your e-mail address for this purpose if you have subscribed to it, if you have consented to it or if I have authorized it. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in the e-mails concerned or by contacting me directly.

Links to third-party sites

My site may contain links to external websites or third-party services. I am not responsible for the content, security or privacy practices of these third-party sites. I invite you to consult their own privacy policies before transmitting any personal data to them.

Lack of automated decision

Unless otherwise specified in a specific service, I do not make a decision that produces significant legal effects on you solely on the basis of automated processing. If this were to be the case in a particular context, the required information would be provided to you separately. The GDPR provides specific information in the event of an automated decision or profiling.

Amendments to this policy

I reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time in order to adapt it to the evolution of my site, my services, my practices or the legal framework. The version published on the site is the version applicable at the time of your consultation.
